今朝、一面の雪野原を散歩しました。
いつも行く城跡の土手を歩くと、
本当にその時間だけ晴れ渡って、
遠くに奥羽山脈がクッキリ見えて、
雪をかぶった梢の先から光が差して、
それは本当にさわやかで、
今年一年、こんな気持ちでいたいと思いました。

新年おめでとうございます。
今日は1月2日で、大学ラグビー選手権をすこしみました。
実は今シーズンはラグビーを見ていませんでしたが、このまえ伊藤さんがラグビーを見に行ったのを知ってちょっと見てみました。
私がラグビー観戦にはまったのは、昨年度でした。それまでのラグビーの印象は、サッカーと違ってあぶなそう。とか怖い、暴力的などでした。でも、そのときみたラグビーはそれまでの印象とは異なっていました。
もちろん危険なプレイとか、ノットロールアウェイとかあるんですが、ラックやモールになってもけっこう整然とボールがつながっていきました。ラグビーって野蛮だと思っていましたが、逆にかなり紳士的でないとできないスポーツだなあと思いました。
今年の早稲田はフォワードがとても強いですね。多分今日も圧勝だったでしょう。最後まで見なかったのですが・・・
