食事はゆっくり食べる
昨今の食べ物は、どんどん食べやすくなっています。
また、あまり噛まなくてよくなっています。
だから、短時間にたくさん食べることができるのです。
噛まないで、短時間にどんどん食べることができるので
たくさん食べてしまうのかもしれません。
体重を減らそうと思うのなら、
ジャンクフードと言われるものを、
できるだけ食べないようにすることだと思います。
そうなると、身の回りに
あまり食べるものがないことに気がつきます。
ここで、昔の食生活はよかったと言いたいわけではありません。
昔も今も、いい食べ物はあまり多くないのだと思います。
自分でいろいろ試した時期もあるのですが、
最終的には、少しの量をゆっくり食べるのがいいと思います。
そういえば、以前インドのアシュラムで食事をする前に
「何のために食べますか？」
と聞かれたことがあります。
それは、お腹がすいているからに決まっていると思ったのですが、
「お腹すいているんですか？」と聞かれて、
あまりすいていないことに気がつきました。
「それならなぜ？」
「それはやはり、お昼だから」
と言ってから、ちょっと行きあたりました。
自分がブロイラーの鶏みたいな気がしました。
それから、彼は言いました。
「少しだけでいいですから、感謝して食べてくださいね」
感謝したり、愛情をもって食べたりすると、
いっぱいは食べられません。

２歳の息子はのーんびりと食べるのが好きで同じご飯が口の中にずーっと残っている。笑うと口の中に入っているご飯が必ず出てきそうになる。妻は早く食べなさいと言いながら、イライラしている。その横で私は、ほら、お父さんを見てと言いながら、ガツガツ食べたりしている。夫婦喧嘩で、妻が息子に向かって、「パパじゃなくてこれからブタと言いなさい」。そうすると息子が、笑いながら「ブタ、ブタ」と言う。そのときは、ほんとに情けない。息子を見習うべきだ。スピードを落として、量を減らして。少し息子の真似をしてみようと思いました。

米国フロリダ州に住んでいます。一年前まで北海道に住んでいました。山形の雪景色を見て、北海道の冬を、あの時のちょっと苦しかったころを恋しく思いました。写真をありがとうございました。

朝食、昼食は、立ちながら食べている事にきがつきました。ほとんど噛まずに飲み込んでいると思います。ジャンクフードは、特に、 雪景色は、なぜか癒されます。この間雪が、観たくて山形にいきました。もう１度観たくなりました｡
