孤独は早死にのリスクを４倍に

スウェーデンでは、２９歳から７４歳までの
１万７０００人あまりの男女を６年間、追跡調査した。
この間、最も孤独だった者は早死にするリスクが高かった。
年齢と性別、年齢と教育水準、年齢と雇用上の地位、
年齢と移民かどうか、年齢と喫煙、年齢と運動の習慣、
年齢とインタビュー時の慢性病などの要因を調整後も、
結果は変わらなかった。
それから、スウェーデンに住む高齢者の調査では、
感情的なサポートが少ない者や一人暮らしをしている者は、
病気に影響する他の要因の調整後も、
早すぎる死を迎える率が２倍以上にのぼった。

人づきあいは面倒だけれど、
それを面倒くさがるようだと、早死にすることになるんでしょうかね？
今日、人の紹介でお会いした方がいます。
私よりずいぶん年齢は上の方ですが、１時間半、会話が弾みました。
その方は、興味の範囲も広く、私のやっていることにも関心を寄せてくれます。
また、質問も具体的で、最初から終わりまで、さわやかな体験でした。
いくつになっても、人と会って、
人に関心を寄せられるようでいたいなーと思ったのでした。
