夏休み
リゾート地のつらいところは、
何かしないと、損したような気になるところですね。
本当は、部屋でクーラーを効かせて、寝ていたいのです。
本なんか読みながら。
でも、それなら東京でもできるでしょう、ということになり、
泳いだり、歩いたり、運転したりになるわけです。
こういうところへ来て、一番やりたいことは、
何もしないことなのです。
何もしない。
「何もしない」さえも「しない」。
車の音や、テレビの音のないところで、
これがやれるとちょっといいです。
それに、風がさわやかで
いいにおいでもすれば最高ですね。
こういうのって、子どもの頃の夏休み、
実家では毎日でしたけどね。
学校のプールで泳いで、
後は家の中の一番涼しいところを探して、ごろごろしている。
そこに涼風がふいて、
気がつくと、タオルケットがお腹にかかっている。
ちょっと安心して、また寝る。
ハワイにきて、それを懐かしむ。
