閉じ込められた

昨日の地震で、妹は新幹線に乗れず、バスで東京までやってきた。
それはそれで大変だったのですが、
それよりも新幹線の中に閉じ込められた人たちもいたわけで、
クーラーもきかず、蒸し風呂状態で、大変だったようです。
　
そういえば、ずいぶん前の正月、
休みが明けて、山形から東京に帰ろうとしたら、
雪で新幹線が止まってしまいました。
約束があったので、仙台から新幹線に乗ろうと思い、
仙山線に乗ったら、山寺の手前でパンダグラフが木に当って壊れてしまい、
立ち往生してしまったことがあります。
　
電車の中からあっちこっちに電話しました。

実家や会社は大騒ぎ。

家族は、僕のことについて
「身体が弱い、どうしてくれるんだ」とか
「今すぐ救出しろ」とか、駅に電話していたらしい。

会社の人たちはなんだか大いに盛り上がったらしく、
いろんな人が電話をくれる。
ついでにお友達のＳさんも電話をよこして、

「伊藤さん、だいじょうぶ？」

なんて聞きながら、すごく楽しそうで、
明らかに電話の向こうで笑っている。

電車の中は、暖房が切れて、どんどん寒くなって、
復旧の兆しもなく、結構しょぼくれているのに、笑っている。
彼の性格、わかりまりこ。

結局、山寺までなんとか電車を走らせて、そこで降りました。

なんととっても優しい親切なＩさんがお迎えに来てくれて、
山寺から実家まで送ってくれました。
　
実家では、こういう不測事態が大好きな人たちが
キャッキャキャッキャ騒いでいました。

不測事態が自分に起こるのはいやだけど、
不測事態そのものが嫌いなわけじゃないんだよね。
